The California Family Urgent Response System (FURS) is a statewide hotline established in 2021 to support placement stability for any youth and family who are current and former foster youth up to the age of 21. The hotline is used for crisis support, coaching and guidance and includes the possibility of an in-person response 24/7 anywhere in Sonoma County. FURS eligible criteria include current and former foster youth, youth adopted through foster care, and probation youth with current placement orders.
