The Humane Society of Sonoma County is a locally founded, donor-supported nonprofit organization. We provide a safe haven for animals and do not receive federal or state funding or financial aid from any other humane society or shelter. We are dedicated to transforming animal welfare in Sonoma County through prevention, community veterinary care, innovative sheltering, education, and partnerships. Our mission, vision, and values guide our commitment to kindness. Visit our website for a comprehensive listing of animals available for adoption at our Santa Rosa and Healdsburg shelters. Please check back regularly as new animals become available and are added to our website throughout the day!
