The Early Learning Institute is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1999. Their mission is to provide and promote developmental services, education and support to young children, their families and their community. The Parents as Teachers (PAT) program is designed to help promote children’s development and well-being through a healthy home environment and parent support. Through FREE individually tailored home visits, we provide parents with additional information, education, and access to our network of community resources. These visits help families identify, establish and complete individualized goals while providing resources to ensure the child and family’s success. PAT also offers monthly activities meant to help foster rich learning environments for families. Our program is open to all family configurations, including kinship-care. The only requirement is that they must live in Sonoma County, be pregnant or have a child under 5 and want the service. Check the website for more information on this and other parenting services.
