Use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System (ODLS) to locate a detainee who is currently in ICE custody or who has been in U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s custody for more than 48 hours. You can search by Alien Registration Number. If the number has fewer than nine digits, add leading zeros. You must also select the detainee’s country of birth. You may also search by the detainee’s exact first and last names, including hyphens, if any, also selecting the country of birth. The system is available in 12 languages. If the online system does not locate the detainee, you can contact the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) field office responsible for the detainee directly (see the entry for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Field Office Directory for that website). Otherwise, for general inquiries call the Detention Reporting and Information Line (DRIL). The number is available at 1-888-351-4024, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time. Spanish language assistance is available
